This college is located in the extremely southern part
of Haryana adjoining to Rajasthan, surrounded by Aravalli
Hills in eco-friendly and pollution free zone at 27.88555 latitude &
76.10924 longitude, which
cater the needs of girl students of this educationally backward area and
appropriately fulfills the motto of Government of Haryana “बेटी बचाओ बेटी पढ़ाओ”. The
college was started by Government of Haryana vide letter no. 7/50-2006 C-I(4)
dated 12/05/2014 from the Additional Chief Secretary, Department of Higher
Education, Haryana followed by the “Memorandum of Understanding” between
Baijnath Chaudhary Charitable Trust, Nangal Chaudhary and Government
of Haryana, named as Baijnath Chaudhary Government College
for Women, Nangal Chaudhary. The complete building with
ample infrastructure was constructed and donated by Baijnath Chaudhary
Charitable Trust and the college is being run by
the Department of Higher Education, Haryana.
The Government of Haryana has permitted to start this institution
w.e.f. the session 2014-2015 with 160 seats in B.A.-1st and 80
seats in B.Com.-1st Class. Keeping in view the
sufficient infrastructure and on the
request of the Principal and in the interest of girl students the
Government also granted permission to start Science Stream with the
intake of 60 seats in B.Sc.-1st Non-Medical and 20 seats in B.Sc.-1st Medical.
Now 160 seats in B.A.-1st, 80 seats in B.Com.-1st, 80 seats
in B.Sc. Non-Medical & 60 seats in B.Sc. Medical are available in the college.
At present 944 girl students are enrolled in this
institution. In a nutshell this institution is
marching ahead with positive attitude, abundant
energy and welfare motive to brighten the future of the girl
students of the area.
